Black Dragon Coffee Center

The client had big plans for BDCC, but without proper organization of staff, and after a long lull from COVID, things were stalling. By making some adjustments to the BDCC business model and culture and implementing new SOPs, the client was able to expand their vision instead of constantly putting out fires.

Finding Space
The main function of BDCC is to roast the coffee from some of the finest plantations in Chiapas. But the roaster only took up one room. The rest of the space sat idle and dark.

Finding Function
BDCC wanted to expand their revenue horizon, making use of the unused space without disrupting the main generator of revenue - the roaster and roasting room. Monark worked with them to make the most of their unused space.

Co-Working Spaces
With a few adjustments, Monark retrofitted the space and re-trained staff to handle the new model. The operating procedures implemented streamlined the work flow of staff without overworking them. With organizational tools and strategies in place,. BDCC is now widely regarded as one of the best spots in town to go and work.
